The Layout

Villa Zaira extends across 160 sqm and is designed for easy, comfortable living. The ground floor features a bright open plan living area with modern furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space suited to shared meals. A double bedroom with a Coco Mat mattress and a shared bathroom complete this level, adding comfort and practicality.

Upstairs, two bedrooms offer added privacy and scenic views. The master bedroom includes a double bed and en suite bathroom, while the second bedroom features two single beds and its own en suite bathroom. A dedicated laundry and ironing area supports longer stays and family holidays.

We had a wonderful 13 day stay in Villa Zaira and really did not want to leave. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The daily breakfast baskets were a real treat. We loved sitting on the roof terrace and watching the sun go down in the evening.

We stayed at Villa Zaira for two weeks in August 2024 and absolutely loved it! The villa is beautifully designed, with spacious rooms, a fantastic pool, and comfortable outdoor seating areas. The location is ideal—just an 11-minute drive to Almyrida’s seaside town, with supermarkets and great local restaurants only minutes away. The pool was incredible, though a bit chilly at times, but heating is available at an additional cost. The daily breakfast delivery at 08:30 was a perfect way to start each day. We also booked a private chef twice, which was a delicious and unforgettable experience. The entire stay was seamless, with excellent communication and helpful pre-arrival options like grocery pre-ordering. We highly recommend Villa Zaira and would love to return!

We stayed at Villa Zaira in October and had a fantastic experience. The villa is modern, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, especially the high-quality beds. We opted to heat the pool to 30°C, which was an additional cost but absolutely worth it, as we needed it for daily swimming and exercise. Without heating, it would have been too cold to use at this time of year. The rooftop hot tub was a highlight, offering breathtaking mountain views, stunning sunsets, and a star-filled sky at night. The daily fresh breakfast basket was a lovely touch. The villa is located in a peaceful village with a shop and taverna nearby, while the beach resort is just a 10-minute drive away. Everything was well taken care of, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

For cultural exploration, Chania invites guests to discover its Venetian harbour, cobbled streets, and rich local atmosphere.

From Villa Zaira, guests can also plan day trips to Balos, Falasarna, Elafonisi, or the Samaria Gorge. This makes the villa a strong choice for travellers who want countryside calm, beach access, and the freedom to explore western Crete.
